Over the years Dr. Choudhry has been actively engaged with advancing the practice of surgery by becoming involved with continuing medical education, research, and advancements in surgical technology. Furthermore, he has been involved with medical teaching with medical students and surgery residents.  He also has mastered the newest and most advanced technology of robotic surgery and has done almost 3000 robotic surgeries to date. He has become a key opinion leader for Intuitive Surgical and a leader in surgeon training, traveling around the country to teach and train other surgeons on the da Vinci Surgical Systems. 

While starting as a solo practice, the goal of NorthStar Surgery has always been to add additional surgical specialists with the same common mission. Dr. Cristina Muresanu joined the practice in 2023, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise from her training, minimally invasive fellowship, and extensive work experience.   At NorthStar Surgery Specialists, PA, we have over 25 years combined experience.
