Mieka Schambach

Office Manager & Biller

Mieka is a certified professional coder (CPC) through AAPC who specializes in general surgery (CGSC). She graduated Phi Theta Kappa from Pellissippi State Community College – Knoxville with an Associates of Science in Business Administration. She then went on to further her education with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from King University – Knoxville, TN. She is also a part of several scholarly affiliations – The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) and The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).

Mieka has been employed with NorthStar Surgery Specialists since 2013 where she assists our surgeons in providing excellent patient care. She is involved in all the administrative side of the practice including insurance verifications, cost estimations and financial planning for patients. She helps assist patients in evaluating their financial obligations and coming up with a way to manage their financial plan for surgery. Mieka also is the Office Manager and fulfills all roles related to practice management for NorthStar Surgery.
